John Lewis

John Lewis co-founded Ironwood with business partner Dee Lovelace in 2015, determined to bring integrity and transparency to merchant services. With over 25 years of industry experience, John received recognition for his customer service and retention efforts. He has used the same customer-focused approach to grow Ironwood into a national payments company serving financial institutions and other strategic partners.

A Mississippi Delta native and avid outdoorsman, John has a strong appreciation for Mississippi’s natural landscape and named Ironwood after the resilient ironwood trees that grow along the Mississippi River. He resides in Oxford, Mississippi, with his wife and three children.
